Sep 6, 2020 · Magnum 500 Transmission Oil. Hey guys, I've finally got this thing rolling and I would like to change oil in the transmission. My research shows I need Polaris Premium Synthetic Gearcase Lubricant P/N 2871478. On another forum a user quoted the manual for his Sportsman as saying it needs the same P/N oil or a 30 weight synthetic engine oil.
