The Farron Greatsword seems really unique and cool but the Wolf Knight's Greatsword seems like it could be better in the long run. I started knight and have just been using straight swords and am deciding where to go from here. You do get +1 move but you lose covert, gain 1 speed, lose strength and def growth in favor of speed and res, take more severe terrain movement penalties, and become vulnerable to effective weapons.
